Ahead of Rosh Hashanah, Chief Rabbi of Cyprus, Rabbi Arie Zeev Raskin, met in the Secret Forest with the parents and families of some of the hostages taken on October 7.

In a heartfelt and emotional gathering, Rabbi Raskin offered words of warmth, comfort, and encouragement as the families prepare to enter the High Holidays with heavy hearts and unwavering hope.

He spoke about faith, resilience, and the unbreakable bond of the Jewish people — reminding everyone that no one is ever alone, and that the prayers of the entire Jewish nation are with them.

The meeting in the tranquil setting of the Secret Forest served as a space for reflection, unity, and spiritual strength, as the families continue to hope and pray for the safe return of their loved ones.
