Our new Russian speaking program has been well welcomed and is currently serving over 100 families in Cyprus.
The Lubavitchski Centre Kipra was created to connect and assist all of the Russian speaking members of the Jewish community of Cyprus. The group was the creation of Rabbi Jehoshua Raskin, who connects with the islands Russian speaking members through online groups, live Zoom classes, group chats and one on one time.
There are over 100 Russian Jewish families permanently living on the island. Having a Russian speaking connection to ensure that all of their spiritual and traditional needs are met, is imperative.
Services include, shabbat times, holiday schedules, Russian speaking events, time with the Rabbi on Zoom, visitations to places of work and homes, spiritual guidance and advise, and much more.
With daily communication through WhatsApp and zoom, we ensure that all Jewish Russian speakers on the island have their religious needs met. With the Russian population growing, Lubavitchski Centre Kipra is ready to serve the community with all of its needs.
