The Chabad Hebrew School of Cyprus is a place where the traditions of Judaism are vividly brought to life. Our emphasis is on creating a positive and enjoyable learning experience where your child will discover the value and meaning of Jewish life.
You and your child will discover an open and creative atmosphere at Chabad Hebrew School. We welcome Jewish families from all backgrounds and levels of observance. No membership is required. Your child's style of living and learning will be valued and nurtured.
Our staff is professional and experienced. Each has the proven abilities to create a motivating and exciting environment that will capture your child's interest and make learning fun in an after-school program.
Our Goals
Our essential goals are to:
- enrich each child's knowledge of Judaism.
- develop and strengthen feelings of pride in our heritage.
- instill an appreciation for the Land of Israel.
Curriculum
Using a multi-sensory model, which incorporates arts and crafts, audio—visual presentations, hands-on activities, music and games, your child will learn:
- Hebrew reading and writing
- Jewish holidays and customs
- Prayers
- Jewish history
- Current events
Bar and Bat Mitzvah Classes
Special classes are available for students approaching Bar or Bat Mitzvah. Each course provides an individualized home study program coordinated with private tutoring .
Ages
Our programs are designed for boys and girls ages 3 - 13.
Hours
Classes meet once a week on Sunday from 10:30 am -12:30 pm.

Chabad Hebrew School is located at Chabad Lubavitch - Jewish Center of Cyprus.
Tuition
Tuition is 2 cyp per Sunday. For your convenience the fee may be paid in monthly payments of 8 cyp.
