Blessed Be He who has granted us life, sustained us, and enabled us to reach this occasion.
For more than fifteen years, we have been operating in Cyprus. We have walked together every step of the way – making communal Pesach seders, founding the country's first synagogue, supplying kosher food, the construction of a mikveh, bar-mitzvah classes, holding proper Jewish weddings, a vast array of Torah classes, establishing a Jewish kindergarten, running clubs on Jewish tradition, and the list goes on. We have been together in happy moments and happier moments, and we have always aspired to achieve more.
Thank G‑d, the dream has become a reality – Cyprus has been transformed from an island devoid of holiness into a center of light and Torah, with a burgeoning Jewish community, branches in all major cities, and activities around the clock. With this growth comes an increased demand and a tremendous thirst for holiness. As a result, our current location no longer has adequate space to house our growing programs.
With praise and thanks to Alm-ghty G‑d, and in the merit of friends like you, we have purchased the plot of land where the old building was. We have arranged the necessary renovations, adapted the building's interior layout, and even the building's exterior has taken on a new and proper appearance, befitting a house for G‑d on the level of "This is my G‑d and I will glorify Him."
All this would not have been made possible without the support of good friends like you. The development of the land is in full swing and we must continue to meet the numerous payments required to keep the project moving.
At the present time, in order to complete the construction of this new facility, which will serve as a lighthouse of holiness in Cyprus, we must raise the funds necessary to cover the balance for these payments.
